We are looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Rail Civil Engineering Design teams in either Manchester, Liverpool or London, supporting our Technical Directors and Design Managers to deliver a wide variety of rail infrastructure projects.

What’s the role? 

You will be working with Senior Engineers and Design Managers to deliver civil and structural engineering design packages. You will be working on a wide variety of rail engineering projects, where you will be responsible for preparing calculations, reports, drawings, risk assessments and specifications. 

You will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a rapidly expanding team, including support in working towards becoming a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.  

What will you have?  

  • Technical design skills in civil and/or structural engineering. 
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems. 
  • Experience of preparing design packages on Network Rail projects.  
  • Awareness of Network Rail standards and processes. 
  • Degree or similar qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering or related subject.  
  • Beginning to work towards becoming a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
