Pre-Construction Phase

During the pre-construction phase, we work with the client’s project team to establish the best procurement route and standard forms of contract to use. Using our experience, we can advise of sector specific amendments to the standard forms of contract. Our team prepares and implements robust contractual and commercial procedures to safeguard your interests. We conduct thorough tender evaluations, including sensitivity analysis, to ensure the right decisions are made for our clients’. Additionally, we draft project-specific pricing schedules and following detailed tender analysis, advise on the preferred delivery contractor for the project, assisting the client in negotiating the contract price, programme and contractual terms. We take actions and implement strategies that make projects more effective and productive, assisting with strategic decisions on project execution, risk management and providing value engineering services.

Construction Phase

Throughout the construction phase, our experienced team manage the construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual provisions and accurate measurement of the delivered work. We handle interim valuations, ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with the contract terms and the construction act. Our team assesses the validity and value of claims for extensions of time and loss & expense. We provide cost forecasting and reporting to give our clients early warnings about potential issues.  We support our clients further by offering strategic advice on mitigation measures, contract amendments, sectional takeovers, and defect rectification. This allows us to manage contractual differences and avoid disputes and we administer the contract diligently, responding formally and within the timescales set out in the contract.

Post-Construction Phase
