Vextrix expands senior leadership team

We are pleased to announce the appointment of David Murray as Director of Engineering Design Services for the UK.

David states “I am thrilled to be joining Vextrix at what is an exciting time for them as a business.

To help them achieve their vision and exciting plans for the future, my aim is to create, lead and develop a successful design services business unit nationwide. Using the foundations and core values that are already embedded within Vextrix, I am sure I will accomplish my targets by developing the engineering services alongside the already experienced team.”

An experienced professional

David has over 20 years’ of experience in the construction industry. Over the years he has worked on a vast number of schemes within the industrial, retail, education, transport, rail, residential, waste and water sectors. These schemes have included multi storey developments as well as large basement structures and carparks. Some of David’s key achievements over the last couple of years have been creating a new department within a business which brought in nearly £1.5m worth of opportunities. He also successfully created a Rail sector within the business that today plays a key part in their success.

David also loves everything BIM. One of his most proud achievements is playing a key part in the company achieving BRE BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification. David and his team worked tirelessly to implement the correct standards, methods and procedures and BIM-related documentation to meet the requirements.

Director of Vextrix, Phil Marsden, welcomed David to the team and said: “David will be a valuable member to the Management team. His experience, leadership, knowledge of the market and commitment to building long standing relationships with our existing and new clients is clear to see and he will play a key role in building our experience in design, digitisation and technology thinking. David joins us at an exciting time in the planned growth of Vextrix. ”
